The Rules




Rules of the Contest

  1. All sounds that are made out of the human organs are allowed.
  2. Dangerous body contacts during the battles will lead to immediate disqualification.
  3. The two microphones will be set on a uniformly level by the jury.


Race Laps

Elimination Round - ca. 50 Participants - 1 x 120 seconds
Best 16 - 8 Battles = 32 Sets - 2 x 90 seconds
Quarterfinal - 4 Battles = 16 Sets - 2 x 90 seconds
Semi Finals - 2 Battles = 8 Sets - 2 x 90 seconds
Final Round - 1 Battle = 4 Sets - 2 x 90 seconds


Competition System

In the elimination round each participant presents a 120 seconds long Beatbox session.
The sixteen best artists of the qualifying round qualify for the Best 16 round to present 2 Beatbox sessions of 90 seconds in a face of. The eight best artists of the Best 16 round qualify for the quarterfinal to present two Human Beatbox sessions of 90 seconds each. The participant with the highest score competes against the 8th participant, the 2nd best against the 7th participant, the 3rd best against the 6th participant and the 4th best against the 5th participant.

The four best participants of the quarter final qualify for the semi Finals. The semi Finals consists of two couples which each perform 2 sessions of 90 seconds Human Beatbox. The two winners of the semi Finals qualify for the Final Round.
The winner get the titel: Beatboxing World Champion.


Minors & User rights

All participants must have reached the age of sixteen years to take part in the contest.
Minors can only travel with there parents or an guardian to Germany and must abide by the Germans keep minors regulation.
