The World Championship is a five days music festival with battles, showcases, workshops and the Beatbox Battle World Conference. Over 140 international vocal percussion and beatboxing artists will travel to Berlin, Germany and take part in the World Championship event on stage.
The participant artists are coming from more than 30 different countrys and speak many different languages. But beatboxing is multilingual and will be the langugae over the week. The unik styles and beats are the main focus of the music festival. The whole programm will be broadcasted via video livestream into the world wide web for free. The team of Beatbox Battle TV shout many interviews beside the event and will upload all the footage on YouTube.

Jury Presentation

The official Beatbox Battle judges will showcase there famous skills on the main stage before the regular contest starts. All festival guest will see that our jury members has the know how to judge the official contest on stage. This increases the credibility of the event.

Beatbox Battle - Advancement Class

The Advancement Class is the main category on the Beatbox Battle World Championship 2009. More than 50 different human beatboxing artists will show there best skills in a face to face competition on stage. All participants won a qualifiying Beatbox Battle in there seperate countrys or got an special invitation from Beatbox Battle Networks to join the big world finals.

Team Beatbox Battle

The category Team beatbox battle is for all invitedt beatboxing crews. Every entering team must be formed out of 2-5 persons. Evvery crew must showcase a four minutes human beatbox set infront of the jury. The team with the most judging points will win the show competition on stage.

Female Beatbox Battle

the female Beatbox battle is for all international beatboxing ladys only. we will invite the most skilled vocal percussion girls to berlin and give them a chance to represent there skills. This will be off the hook when the female artista stand on stage for a face to face Beatbox Battle.

Beatbox Convention

The Beatbox Battle Convention is the official side event of the World Championships and shows all five days the history of the Beat Box via multimedia-devices and a photogallery. The judges and the event crew from Berlin, Germany will organise podium disscussions with the main topic vocal music. All festival guests will get more informations and know how about the global community.

World Beatbox Conference

The World Beatbox Conference is the official meeting for all global beatboxing event-producers, managers, artists and label owner. The conference is splitted in three different days and set the focus on upcoming events an championships.

Beatbox Academy

We will organise free vocal percussion training to all interested human beatboxing fans inside of the Beatbox Academy training rooms. The workshop teacher will be selected from the international jury members. because every young musician artist or fan like to get trained by his idol in an official music school. This is the next step to help our global scene growing bigger.

Beatbox Battle TV

The team of Beatbox Battle TV will install an own TV Studio where all participate artists will be invited to give an official interview which will be broadcasted in the video livestreaming. This is a powerfull tool to get all the local fans and supporter of an artist on board. Because not everybody can travel to Germany and see the event in real life.

Movie: Love, Peace & Beatbox

The highlight of the last festival day is defenetly the cinema movie: Love, Peace & Beatbox of the director Volker Meyer-Dabisch. His documentary shows the Berlin Beatbox Culture and tales the story about the Beatbox Battle Network. This movie won many Film Awards and was an official part of the Berlinale 2008.
